The equestrian season starts in Oliva Nova Equestrian Centre with the Autumn MET 2017. The first riders are arriving on the 3rd October and they will be competing in the International Show Jumping Competition until 12th November.
5 weeks of competition from Tuesday to Sunday, where professional and amateur riders will meet in Oliva Nova to check if their horses are fit and train them after the summer holidays. A total of 645.000 Euros are at stake and also important punctuation for the International Ranking of the FEI.
Thousands of equestrian lovers may also enjoy one of the most important European competitions held in Autumn. The best incentives for riders are the mild Mediterranean climate together with the fantastic facilities of Oliva Nova: a total of nine arenas with an exclusive natural grass arena among them.
Apart from the competition, visitors may also enjoy the best cuisine of Oliva Nova in the restaurants located right next to the arenas. Tasting a delicious rice of Ocean’s haute-cuisine menu or a more informal dish at Aura Lounge sounds like a perfect plan for a mild autumn day. As a perfect ending, they can also do some shopping at the commercial village of the Equestrian Centre.
This is the sixth edition of the Autumn MET, the leading-up to the big European competition during the winter, starting in January with the Spring MET 2018. It is, without a doubt, one of the best horse jumping competition of the Mediterranean area.
