Dark Light

For years now, we always remind our parents that we want to spend at least a few summer days at Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort. We’ve always been used to travelling together, but we don’t often feel like doing the adults’ plans so much. But here we feel like we have a real holiday planned just for us.

What’s more, we’ve been told that in 2026 the hotel has extended the kids’ activities through May and June, giving us more chances to enjoy the holiday over the year.

Our parents, like the parents of lots of other kids we meet there, tell us that it’s more and more common now to travel outside peak times of year, making the most of long weekends, getaways during school holidays or spring breaks.

From almost when we’re born until we’re 15 years old, we have options suited to our ages as well as bilingual staff in English for families from different places. The Baby Club includes children from 1 to 3 years old, the Kids Club from 4 to 12 years old, and the Teens Club from 10 to 15.

Here, every day is different depending on your hobbies. The day can begin with an eco-workshop aimed at familiarizing us with caring for the environment through recycling and creativity. Around the beach, there are seaside activities like games about the sea, the oceans, orientation with compasses and building sand statues. And the ideas for healthy habits blend sports, water games, mini-Olympics and activities linked to moving around and eating healthily.

Those of us who are football fans also get an extra treat in August, with a training camp linked to Valencia Football Club aimed at ages between 5 and 16 for boys and girls.

Not only that, but we can discover our talents and boost our intercultural awareness with activities involving expression, imagination and sharing, like the “Day of Stars”, “Magicians and the mystery of numbers” and the days about cultures and traditions, which familiarize us with other countries, languages, games and ways of celebrating the world through play.

And one thing we never miss is the weekly party with Oli, which includes learning to dance, workshops for accessories, music, a photo call, and kids’ activities like inflatables.

For a lot of families, travelling outside the peak season no longer means missing out on services, but finding a more relaxed, flexible and balanced way to experience the holidays. That’s something the adults appreciate, but which we kids in the family are enjoying more and more.

The children’s and youth activities include age-appropriate programmes:

  • Baby Club: 1 to 3 years
  • Kids Club: 4 to 12 years
  • Teens Club: 10 to 15 years

There’s also bilingual English support for international families.

Before summer begins, girls and boys of all ages can enjoy various activities at the resort.
