1) GASTRONOMY
Oliva Nova offers a huge variety of restaurants and culinary proposals. Any recommendations? Aura restaurant, with no doubt whatsoever. A menu with the best Mediterranean dishes, perfect to satisfy the most demanding palates. Before leaving the Resort, you must also visit El Olivo, right next to the pool of the Hotel, to taste a fusion of traditional and avant-garde cuisine, as well as the best rice dishes and local products. There are more gastronomic options: La Trattoria offers authentic Italian cuisine in the Shopping Centre Oliva Nova, or The Golf Club with amazing views to the golf course. Right in the Hotel, you’ll find La Pérgola or the Lobby Bar for a quick meal before resuming your activities. It is not for lack of choice.
2) ONE OF THE BEST BUFFET BREAKFASTS
Yes, we have indeed spoken about gastronomy above. However, the buffet breakfast in Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Hotel deserves a separate section. A Hotel risks everything with the breakfast. Excellent rooms and privileged surroundings are not enough to keep the romance with the guests if the breakfast is not up to scratch. A total pleasure for “breakfast lovers”: excellent and varied juices; baked bread; home-made pastry; freshly ground coffee in a porcelain cup; fresh juicy fruit; typical products of a European breakfast such as eggs bacon, and beans; as well as local Mediterranean products. Here you can say that life is a long, quiet breakfast.
3) LOCATION
The beach is the place that some people miss stepping on for almost a year. Feeling the sand between your toes and looking ahead to the sea is one of the biggest pleasures in life. In Oliva Nova, you can experience it (almost) the whole year round as we have one of the best-preserved beaches in the Valencian coastline. No hustle and bustle, but serenity; no concrete, but natural dunes decoratingthe coast. The quality of water goes without saying. You just need to check it: a blue sea with a whitish bottom where you can swim among fish. However, Oliva Nova is much more than the beach. Right on the opposite part, to the west, there are other attractive spots: the Pego-Oliva Marshes Natural Park, the mountains of Vall de Gallinera, Laguar or Vall de Pop, a reference point for those who go cycling around the area. It’s not a coincidence that the Gran Fondo Alberto Contador is held in Oliva Nova. A few kilometres to the south, you can climb the Montgó, a natural park in Dénia.
4) KIDS CLUB
This is a family leisure option for those staying in the Resort. Original and innovative activities scheduled to stimulate children’s interest in discovering new stimuli and aptitudes. 5) MODERN FACILITIES
Refurbished in 2017, Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Hotel has over 200 guest rooms completely renewed. All of them are very elegant and spacious, with a covered terrace and views to the lagoon style swimming pool, to the beach or the Montgó mountain in Dénia. 6) RELAXATION
There are a spa and a fitness centre in the basement of Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Hotel. There is nothing more relaxing than a massage, although going to a spa is near enough. Oliva Nova Wellness Spa gives its guests the opportunity to enjoy a unique moment with the spa circuit that combines the hydrotherapy of its heated pool, equipped with jacuzzi, cascades and swan’s neck fountains, with contrasts in the temperature thanks to the Finnish Sauna, Turkish bath, footbath and different kinds of showers. 9) THE BEST SHOWJUMPING COMPETITION IN THE WORLD
Whether you have seen it or not, it is a must to attend to the showjumping competition organised at the Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova, one of the best events in the international circuit. It is located next to the hole 14 of the golf course. The opening of these facilities implied an important qualitative leap for the European equestrianism as the competition and the facilities are considered one of the best in the internationally rankings. Riders come from more than 44 countries and every continent. Its facilities can host official classic dressage and showjumping competitions, both national and international.
10) TRAVEL YOUR OWN WAY IN A VILLA OR APARTMENT
