Despite the excellent drainage of the course, storm warnings with heavy rains and strong winds have forced the organisation to postpone the tournament of Seve Ballesteros PGA Spain Tour 2019 Circuit.
It was scheduled start this week at the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort in Valencia. However, the tournament, belonging to the Seve Ballesteros PGA Spain 2019 Circuit, has been postponed due to security reasons.
Considering the weather alert caused by a cold drop with high impact rainfall and strong wind gusts in the Spanish east coast, the organisation has decided to postpone the tournament which will be held from January 2020, 17th to 19th, and the Pro-Am tournament is scheduled on Thursday 16th.
The coastline of regions such as Valencia, Murcia and Alicante will be the most affected zones starting on Tuesday. These areas are now under orange alert with warnings of intense rainfall, strong winds and waves.
