Repairing works to eliminate Bermuda grass developments in the putting green in front of the clubhouse brought a new assignment for the greenskeeping crew: to expand the surface of the putting-practice facility.

The original task led to finding that the original structure of the putting green had been developed for a larger green, with a different contour. So after determining those original limits sod was cut off, and a new mix of sand and soil developed. Stripes of pure agrostis grass were brought from our nursery, and puzzled down meticulously to shape the new surface.

We expect the putting green to be fully ready by mid-February, should the temperature allow for it.
