A Leading International Equestrian Event
Once again, the Spring MET 2025 has proven to be one of the most outstanding and prestigious events on the international equestrian calendar.
For several weeks, riders from around the globe gathered at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Centre to experience a unique celebration of sporting excellence.
Special emphasis was placed on the quality of the facilities and the welfare of the horses—core values that define the spirit of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour.
This year’s Spring MET welcomed over 3,000 horses and 1,500 riders from more than 40 nations, confirming its status as a must-attend event for the world’s top show jumpers.
Spanning a total of 12 weeks of top-level competition, the Spring MET offered a first-class program that attracted both rising talents and established stars from the international show jumping scene.
The competition Risohorse Ebb & Flow arenas, the stable area, and the veterinary zones met the highest technical and welfare standards, earning high praise from competitors for their quality and care.
The 2025 edition culminated in thrilling finals, with highlights like the Sunday Grand Prix featuring some of the sport’s biggest names. Among them Ben Maher, Christian Kukuk, Scott Brash, Daniel Deusser, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, Jérôme Guery, Sergio Alvarez Moya, Mariano Martínez Bastida, and Julien Epaillard, along with promising young talents taking a major step forward in their careers.
Riders were able to choose between Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories, or enter dedicated Young Horse classes, designed to provide valuable experience
in a highly competitive environment.

New Highlights in 2025
The 2025 edition introduced several new features aimed at enhancing the overall experience for both riders and spectators. These included the expansion of leisure and hospitality areas, as well as an updated gastronomic offering.
Participants praised the organization’s hospitality and the quality of services, reinforcing the event’s reputation for excellence both inside and outside the arena.
Thanks to its continued growth and international recognition, the Oliva Nova Equestrian Centre has further solidified its position as a premier destination for top-level equestrian sport.
COUNTDOWN TO AUTUMN MET 2025
The Autumn MET 2025, featuring 9 weeks of competition, will round out the calendar year. Once again, both elite riders and rising stars will gather at Oliva Nova for one of the most anticipated events of the season—an excellent opportunity for professionals, sponsors, and passionate amateurs alike.
