Dark Light

2025 begins, a time brimming with hope and renewed resolutions. Yet, as we take this step into the future, we cannot help but look back and remember what our beloved Valencia endured just a few months ago.

The images of flooded streets, devastated homes, and families striving to regain a sense of normality have left an indelible mark on our collective memory. Therefore, I want to dedicate the opening words of this issue to a reflection: what lessons can we draw from what happened, and, most importantly, how can we use them to build a better tomorrow?

Amidst the devastation, we also witnessed something equally powerful: the resilience and solidarity of our people. We saw neighbours helping one another, professionals working tirelessly to ensure our safety, and initiatives proving that, even in the most challenging times, we can come together to move forward.

The dana not only tested our infrastructure but also our ability to adapt to the challenges posed by climate change. While nature can show us its most ferocious side, we also have the power to learn, act, and build a more sustainable future. This new year, therefore, must be the year of collective commitment to sustainability, planning, and innovation.

At ON Magazine, we want to pay tribute to everyone who has been on the front lines during this crisis: the rescue teams, state security forces, and every anonymous citizen who continues to contribute to rebuilding what has been damaged. Their efforts remind us that, together, we can overcome any adversity.

This 2025 is a blank page, and together we have the opportunity to write a story of hope, action, and transformation. Thank you for joining us on this journey towards a stronger, greener, and more united future.

With warm regards,
